In this opportunity we would like to share with you this amazing project called FRAGMENTS OF EXTINCTION.
David Monacchi, an artist, researcher, and eco-acoustic composer of sound is their director and founder. The project focuses on three main areas: Amazonas, Africa and Borneo, since they are considered the only ones that remain intact.
Fragments of extinction consist in creating a sound legacy and at the same time creating an experience for people so they become aware of this menace through art.
In this very special year, we found this project an opportunity to both raise awareness of the levels of extinction in our planet and to feel a little closer to nature, specially for those who are living in big cities and are still under confinement, unable to travel around and get a glimpse of outdoor living.
